About nine years ago, after the birth of my first daughter, I didn’t recognise my body.
Following a caesarean section, I struggled to sit up properly and was left with a 4cm abdominal separation (severe diastasis recti). At my six-week check, I was told I could return to running — yet I could barely walk uphill comfortably.
I felt weak, frustrated and unsure where to begin.
That experience led me to retrain as a personal trainer. I wanted to properly understand how to rebuild strength safely and effectively — and to help other women feel strong and confident again.
Although I’d always been active, it wasn’t until I qualified that I truly understood the impact of structured strength training combined with supportive nutrition. That knowledge changed not just my body, but my mindset.
Three years ago, I entered a bodybuilding competition to challenge myself and deepen my understanding of body composition, discipline and consistency. It reinforced something I now coach every client on: Real change comes from structure, patience and habits you can sustain. I was proud to earn three Pro Cards, an achievement that reflects the discipline, consistency and dedication I bring to both my own training and the coaching I provide to my clients.
I am a level 3 personal trainer also qualified in nutrition coaching, pre and postnatal, kettlebell and circuit training.
